Ethernal Now Collection
Spring/Summer 2024
The Eternal Now collection was created from my love for ancient objects, fossils, caves, and organic architecture. In April, I received a gift from my uncle, a geology professor: an ammonite and a trilobite fossil, each over 250 million years old. These divine, mysterious objects - fossils and caves, along with the goddesses believed to dwell within them - became a source of fascination as I developed both the garments and ceramics.
Collaboration and intentional making are at the heart of my work. Creating the Eternal Now salon dinner party was a way to present the collection in a nurturing and healing environment. We collaborated with Joon Eats, who prepared a beautiful meal for us. The word "Joon" (جون) means "life" and is also used as a term of endearment, reflecting the loving care that goes into every detail of this collection.
The ocean, a place of nourishment and cleansing, is a constant source of inspiration to my work. I want my clothing to reflect this—to be something you wear that embraces you, serving as a vessel for your inner sanctuary. The ceramics, too, are designed with this intention. They are meant to be spaces you can return to, where you can build your altar, say a prayer into the vessel, and into the water you pour within. Adorn them with flowers, your favorite or meaningful objects, light a candle, and create a sacred space for yourself.
Wear the clothes that hold you, and continue to set good intentions for this world.
Big thank you to my team -
